They may however recommend these women limit their weight gain to a controllable 15-20 pounds. As the growing baby still needs a regular intake of healthy calories to develop properly. This is definitely not the time to try and lose weight. Eating healthy and regularly will ensure you and your baby get everything you need. There’s plenty of time after the baby is born to shed those extra pounds. Your babys health is the most important thing during pregnancy.
